All RCP members and anyone interested are encouraged to become further involved with the Partnership by contributing through our committees.
1. Standing Committees – Standing Committees will operate as an entity of the board of directors and will work towards achieving specific duties of the Board and toward the RCP’s mission and goals. Standing Committee memberships open to any member of the RCP.
2. Special Committees – The Board of Directors shall have the authority to appoint special committees as necessary, and at their discretion, and to appoint a chairperson of that committee from the Board. Special Committee membership is open to any member of the RCP.
In addition, the Raccoon Creek Water Trail Association, a citizen led effort and component of the RCP is always looking for more people to help develop Raccoon Creek as a state designated water trail. The Water Trail Association and RCP conduct annual canoe floats on Raccoon Creek to enjoy the creek and its natural beauty! Contact Molly Gurien, RCWTA Chair, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
