The Big Sandy Run Low-head Dam Project in Vinton County is complete! This project, funded by an EPA 319 grant, will help to restore natural habitat features and fish passage in Big Sandy Run, upstream of Lake Hope. A huge thanks to ODNR Division of Forestry who completed the project. A poster about the project are displayed at the Lake Hope Nature Center, and along the Zaleski backpacking trail near King Hollow Road.
