Update: 2019 Owl Prowl

Raccoon Creek Partnership Owl Prowl

February 7, 2019 at Lake Hope Lodge Banquet Room

Due to heavy rains over the next few days, Athens is currently under a flood watch.  Before traveling to Owl Prowl, please check for any unsafe road conditions on your route!  Watch our Facebook page for updates on Owl Prowl, including potential cancellation.  Right now, we are still planning on holding the event and hope to see you there!

Safe travels!

RCP’s annual Owl Prowl is fast approaching!

We will be heading to the Lodge at Lake Hope on February 7th to explore one of Southeast Ohio’s most elusive predators–the owl. Join us and Hocking Hills State Park Naturalist Pat Quackenbush for a presentation and twilight hike in search of the owls of Lake Hope. Come early for dinner at the Lodge and then join us for crafts, owl pellet dissection, and hot chocolate during Pat’s presentation.

All ages welcome, but no pets please. Silence is essential when looking for owls! Bring a flashlight and come dressed for the weather.
