Swing by Walter Hall this Thursday to celebrate #OHIOEarthDay with us!

The Office of Sustainability and the Voinovich School OHIO Zero Waste Initiative are pleased to once again partner for the 2019 Ohio University Earth Day Celebrations! This year we are hosting a variety of events on Thursday, April 18. Activities in/around Walter Hall Rotunda from 1:30-4:30pm will include in part our Reuse & Repair Fair!

Come join the fun with campus and community partners as they host hands-on demos for upcycling and repair DIY activities. A variety of partners including Raccoon Creek, ReUse/MakerSpace, Rural Action, OHIO Culinary Services, Tree Care Committee, Campus Recycling, Ohio Valley Museum of Discovery, Food Matters, and many more will be tabling. Local musicians Boys of the Hock will provide afternoon entertainment!

Have a clothing item that needs to be mended? Sign up in advance for your time slot to bring the item to our group of menders on site: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ogi8jUqtj56umIjULSHaCSgjRwb5JVN3y9FcDzjwxMY/edit?usp=sharing

Check out the attached flier for more information and activities schedule. Light refreshments will be on hand and don’t forget to bring your own water bottle to this Green Event!
